Difficulty Level: Easy/Medium
Map: Here!

Description: This is the most popular zone by far. It easily has 400-500 players playing in it at peak hours. Trench Wars is a fast paced "one shot kill" (for most ships) zone with the main principle being to capture the flag. The ship settings are set to simulate "being in the trenches" during a war. It also includes Trench War Leagues (TWL) and Tournaments that are run by Zone Staff at designated times.

The map consists of a large "castle" like structure with a flag at the top. Players must navigate past the obstacles in order to reach the base holding the flag located near the top. There are also 5 Safe Zones located around the lower spawning area of the map. The current map is used for the public arenas as well as special events. Many other events such as "hockey" and "zombies" are hosted in the zone to add to the excitement!

Description: Extreme Games is one of the very popular zones in Subspace averaging a population of about 200 players. It is a zone that requires accuracy and quick decision with a one shot kill configuration making quick reflexes a must. Jackpots can be won by picking up flags, or by attacking other players who are carrying them. To play this action packed warzone based "capture the flag" zone you can join a team of 9 other people or fight on the public teams. EG is a player-run and supported zone. The Extreme Games Map has it's own custom tileset, the map and ship settings have new changes being made to them almost every week. The map consists of 30 flags scattered in bases around the map. Players spawn into a large safe zone that is located in the center of the map. The arena game-play will keep you on your toes as well as the other events such as King of the Hill, Powerball and other things.

Map: Here!

Description: DSB is another very popular zone with an average population of about 200-300 players. In order to "win" in this zone, you and your team must occupy and hold the Death Star. The emphasis in DSB is teamwork; in order to "own" the Death Star your team must work together. The zone has a Star Wars theme, which the ship settings coincide with making the game more enjoyable.

The Map has 100 flags scattered around in the Death Star. Teams get periodic awards for the flags they have control of, the more flags a team gets, the more points it will receive as an award. The ship settings allow each team to use 4 of the 8 ships while the other team uses the remaining 4; which is used to represent the Rebels and Imperials. Death Star Battle also hosts an Elim Map and Duel Map. This zone is a must for the Star Wars fans and for anyone looking for a good team based basing game.

Difficulty Level: Easy
Map: Here!

Description: Alpha West is the perfect zone for beginner subspace players. It incorporates the Standard Vie Settings (SVS). The benefit of the SVS settings is that all ships are well balanced with individual strengths and weaknesses. The company that released subspace created these settings. New players can get the hang of the game and ask questions they have. The Mods are very friendly and willing to help you out. This zone is somewhat a teaching zone where players learn the "ropes" of Subspace/Continuum and at some point go on to the more challenging zones. I recommend this zone to anyone just starting out with subspace.

Website: powerballzone.com
Difficulty Level: Hard
Map: Here!

Description: This unique zone was created by JeffP (original programmer of subspace). The main concept is to take the "powerball" down the court and score a goal against your opposing team. It resembles a soccer game, with a mirrored map, 2 teams and 2 goals. A fierce league and public arenas have been made for this popular game. In this zone points are not recorded, only win:loss ratio's are recorded which are used to determine who will be a valuable addition to a team. The only 2 ships that are used in Powerball are the warbird and javelin. This zone requires coordinated teamwork in order to score goals as well as protect your own goal. There is a slow learning curve to playing powerball, so it may take a while for you to get the hang of it. Eventually you'll be able to play like the pros and score the key goals for your team.

Map: Here!

Description: 17th Parallel is a turf-flagging zone that's based on the Vietnam War. This zone has had several server problems, which hurt its popularity and player base, but is now alive and thriving. The map consists of 3 bases and a safe zone near the bottom of the map. Players can base or just kill others in order to gain points. The ships in this zone are very diverse making it easier for you to find the ship that suits your needs. Don't be fooled by 17th Parallel's low player base, this zone is filled with active and dedicated players and staff.

Map: Here!

Description: Warzone is one of the oldest zones in subspace and is still going strong with an increasing player base. In this "capture the flag" zone, teams must pick up flags and take them to a safe location; once a flag is picked up a player has 60 seconds before it is automatically dropped. The goal for a team is to collect all the flags; this requires organization and teamwork in order to defend your acquired flags. There are a variety of different bases located on the map, each of which can be used by a team to defend their flags. Maps change regularly making the Warzone experience an action packed fun filled time. This zone requires a high skill level and may be a tough place for new players to start out in.

Description: The Chaos Zone is the next level up from the Alpha Zone. Players who have become used to playing subspace test their skills in this SVS based zone. You must seek and destroy opponents with high bounties in order to receive points and get that important win:loss ratio that is used to separate the exceptional from the mediocre. The map provides the backdrop for super turrets, bounty hunters and just utter chaos! This zone is a great place to meet new people and just have fun playing with your friends.

Map: Here!

Description: This zones settings are in a league of there own, with fast paced shooting action players must navigate there way through an endless stream of enemy fire. Superships is the zone where you can "let your gun off" and relieve stress by shooting a hail of bombs at your opponents. There are many objectives in this zone one of which is a challenging "flagging" game where players play for "super jackpots". The occasional "supper turret" has also been seen blasting away at anything in it's path. The map consists of a safe zone in the middle with many tunnels; there is a medley of different components such as dueling area's and asteroid belts that add to the chaos. This is the place to be if you are looking for a zone to relax in with a low learning curve and Tons of Fun!

Map: Here!

Description: This popular zone has 2 goals, many talented players and a unique NHL hockey style game that can't be beat. The game has 3 periods, penalties and loads of other settings that make it the most realistic subspace hockey experience. The league that's held is very difficult and competitive, putting your skills to the test to find out who the ultimate hockey "Pro" is. Teamwork is necessary in order to make those plays that'll score goals against the opposing team. This zone has a high difficulty level but is perfect for anyone looking for the ultimate game of subspace hockey!

Description: Premier League is a combination of the long running AML and Pro leagues with combined staff and resources to make this the king of all league zones. The great SVS (Standard VIE Settings) players come here to show their skills in anything from 1v1 matches to 4v4 games. On weekdays you can find many skilled players practicing for the upcoming leagues, when the weekend comes around players wreak havoc in the league competition to be the best of the best. This is by far the most competitive and challenging league zone designed for elite players wanting to see if they can be the next "champion of subspace".

Description: A Small Warzone CTF is made up of several bases around a large spawning area with the main concept being to "capture the flags". The settings are similar to SVS, each ship has it's own special qualities allowing a player to easily adapt to his or her playing style. With map changes occurring regularly players can find that special little spot where they can safely store the 5 flags that are found in each arena. The concept of this zone is similar to Warzone CTF, but will certainly teach you some new skills or techniques you wouldn't learn in any other zone.

Difficulty Level: Medium
Map: Here!

Description: Oklahoma Badlands is a flagging based zone with settings that are similar to Extreme Games, with an increased fire rate for bombs and a lower one for bullets. This zone is set more towards players who are tired of other zone settings and want something new and refreshing. Maps are being changed constantly to keep you interested and provide players with new opportunities to blow up their enemies. The bases are quite narrow in this level and can be a lot of fun if you know how to properly kill people trying to enter them. The overall layout of this zone as well as game-play are very interesting, with some more promotion it will surely become one of the larger more popular zones to play at.
